The CCDO’s work in Siem Reap’s poorest communities started in 2007 by placing a few water wells in rural areas of Cambodia. TFI arranged a field visit to Cambodia in 2013 and was impressed with the organic way that this organization addressed the basic needs of the villages they worked in. CCDO now has three schools and libraries, and perhaps most impressive: a solar-powered computer lab. In addition, this group provides education and nutritious meals to over 1,000 children each day and HSA created multiple health and sanitation outreach programs for the surrounding communities.
The CCDO is one of the agencies for fellowship placement. Several of our Former Fellows have have worked on public health projects, data management, and in teacher training workshops.
