We have been supporting programs in Kenya since 2012. We understand that some of the biggest problems are the cyclical conditions of poverty for those in the slums, as well as the impact of HIV/AIDS on the population at large. We support four organizations addressing the women and children impacted by these issues. Euphrasia Women’s Center provides a crisis center for impoverished women, as well as vocational skills training to allow these women to support themselves. The Margaret Okari Children’s Foundation supports children orphaned by AIDS, providing them with an education and the skills to create successful futures. The Nest provides for the children whose mothers have been imprisoned for petty crimes. St. Vincent’s Children of Kibera supports the children of the poorest slum community, providing them education and care.
