Bolivia
TFI first traveled to Bolivia in 2010 to research stories for our book and documentary, Living on a Dollar a Day, and met with families who survive by farming and herding animals in the mountains. We did not get involved with a grassroots organization there until recently when our our president met the director of A Breeze of Hope at a conference in 2019 and reached out to us when the COVID-19 virus started to make its way around the world to see what, if anything, we could do. Their mission and vision is one we support.

A Breeze of Hope was founded in 2004 to provide free legal, social, and psychological services to child victims of sexual violence and to foster a society that encourages healthy and comprehensive childhood development. Their mission is to restore the lives of these children, mostly girls, who have suffered sexual violence by providing them holistic support so they can go on to live full and productive lives. They envision a world where all children grow up in loving and nurturing environments. Is there any more important work?
