His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama is presented with his own copy of our book, Living on a Dollar a Day, by TFI Board Chair, Debra Fischer in Los Angeles, CA. His Holiness wrote the Foreword to our book to show his support of its compassionate message and call to action. We are immeasurably grateful for his blessing of our project and hope he likes the final product! Much of TFI’s work is inspired by the life’s work and teachings of the Dalai Lama. Tom often tells a story about once years ago sitting in the receiving room at the residence of His Holiness as he gives audiences to guests from around the world.
