Tom Nazario Speaks to High School Students at Riverside High About Global PovertyTom Nazario was invited to speak at Riverside High School in Greenville, South Carolina, and over the course of his visit made three presentations to the student body and faculty about global poverty issues. RHS math teacher, Anne Snow, is the faculty advisor for the Atlas Club, a student group formed in 2009 that has been raising money for needy schools and orphanages TFI supports around the world. Tom thanked the students in Atlas and the RHS community for caring about those less fortunate. Many students said they were touched and inspired by the stories and images Professor Nazario shared that day. The Greenville News captured Tom’s visit to RHS.
